Default chain adjusting

I have a 99 F4....What size socket do I need to loosen the rear wheel???and what size do I need to remove teh front wheel?

Rear wheel should have a 27 MM on the right side and a 22MM on the left.
Losen these before you adjust the small 8MM ones on the back of swing arm edges. (going to need a decent size breaker bar on either side or you may strip the edges of the nut, oh i suggest 6 point socket verses the 12 point)There are referance lines on the braket with the 8mm adjuster bolts, make sure the referance lines match on either side before you torque Larger nut/bolts down. Oh make sure you torqe the larger nut/bolt down to spec. If you dont torqe it with a torqe wrench to designated value, force from chain and spocket will knock it very slightly out of alignment. Im not sure what the front wheel is I'll have to get back to on that one "time to go to the garage and find out" :P

Yes - on big HIGH torque stuff like that you need to use a breaker bar and a 6 sided socket.

Torque specs on the rear axel nut- 42 n/m. Try to torque it when done.
