Does any one have a header/exhaust manifold they would sell me or cheep im watching ebay but I like to ask the board people because i rather give you guys money than some one I have no clue of over ebay. Im making my exhaust like a buell (under the bike with a side exit I have a cut down slip on and its not a problem to make it even shorter but the exit on the header needs to be around 6” further back and I rather not cut up my header its always good to have two before cutting up one

 

Now that's an interesting concept to try. How much ground clearance do you think you'll end up with? The first time I saw a Buell at a bike show I looked all over for the exhaust -- the Buell guy had to point it out.

 

It shouldn’t be to bad because it fits right between the oil pan and the rear tire I think I might lose 2 inches but that’s why I want a new header so I can cut it back and reshape it in the direction I want to. so I lose as little ground clearance as possible. I held it in place a few months ago and it looked awesome the hole side was open I loved it. I think I have to cut my can down a little more its around 9 inches long not including the two end peaces I think ill bring it down to 6 to clear the rear tire. And buy the way it sounds awesome with the short vance and hines ( spelling? I don’t have it here to read the name off of) every one asks if it’s a 1,000 no rasp at all nice deep and crisp
