Bike stalls when hot
Problem:
when bike is hot ... fan turns out
if fan is long for a little bit and i rev the throttle
bike will hesitate and sometimes stall
Soltuion: I hooked up a muiltimeter to check voltage
when i give it gas the voltage doesn't drop or change at all
Question:
what is the cause. All i can think of is the fan drawing to much current or seomthing?

I am faced with the same problem, and it seems like the infamous Regulator/Rectifier problem.
What's your idle when cold? and any mods to air filter/exhaust? (possible lean situation?)
Anyone know if a F4i R/R fits the F4? (F4i R/R has 2 plugs where as F4's has 1)

Bikes do that when they get hot. Pretty much all bikes. Your best bet is to keep your coolant temp down with some Engine Ice or there is a mod in one of the sections where you can change out your temp. sensor so your fan comes on at 180 instead of 220.
yea but the temp needle is ust above halfway when it happens
i don't re call this happening before
ever since i needed a new batttery and a r/r and then fan fuse blowing ( taped the wires better) this has started to happen ... and it ONLY does it when fan is on
maybe i should look at the fan in more detail
drawing too much current?

For REFERENCE:
- Old original model part no. SH633-12
- New model part no. 31600-MV4-010
Most likely fan is going and drawing to much current which is why the fuse was blowing. Make sure the fan doesnt have anything dragging in it ie wires or tape and blow out the fan motor with some compressed air but you will probably have to replace it.
