Hi Everyone,

Couple weeks ago I was getting ready to go out for a Sunday ride. When I was coming to a stop my bike turned off. Thinking it might be still cold I tried to crank it up again, no luck. I waited a bit to try and turn in on. I tried it goes on for 2 seconds then it died. 45 mins after pushing the bike back to my house i did the regular battery check making sure its not my stator. after a few tries i figured it was the fuel pump not giving enough fuel to the engine... i ordered the part and since the bike was open i changed the Sparks plug thinking its been 46k its about time. i received my fuel pump this morning, installed it and turned it on... it went on idling, happy i was with the outcome i was getting ready to put everything back on... then it happened again died... i continue to do it and same thing keeps happening... im lost with this whole thing now and before i take it in the shop i was wondering if anyone has gone through this and have tips of what it might be... i have a 2000 honda cbr 600 f4.

Did you check the fuel filter first?
