if its truly been some time since you started your bike and let it warm up = more than a week even.. sounds like you should question the integrity of your gas bro and the chances if any bad gas is in the fuel system..

i got it its in the ignition i think in 2000 and 2001 is when honda started fuel injecting there bikes my 01 929 is and all the people i know with 2000 are fuel injected too. soooo but im going to post a video on youtube tonight on how to get arownd it its not that hard but you do need a 3.9v zenerd diode get one online and look up my video later in the week ffffffffffffffffffffffff it to so long to get it but i got it soooo happy
i believe its carb'd if im not mistaken, the F4i's were fuel injected. if its cranking but wont start, then its fuel related. double check all your connections with the remote start/alarm system, make sure you have your grounds grounded.. but dont forget to check the basics like your fuel petcock being on (pointed down)
