If you just fit on a slip-on than you wont need to rejet. If you add an air filter as well you may need to rejet; however, early model f4's where jetted on the rich side so you may also be fine. I ran a 2 1/4 Jardine exhaust and a k&n air filter on my bike for a while and it ran just fine.
