99 Cbr600f4, how to add a slip-on.

Hey guys,
As you can see by the headline, my bike is a 1999 Cbr600F4.
It has the stock exhaust on it, and I want to add a slip-on pipe to it.
If I go with something like the Yoshi RS-3, do I need to jet the bike. I don't know much about the bike. I bought her yesterday.

Can someone tell me what all I need to do to add a slip on exhaust.

Thanks!
Matt H.

If you just fit on a slip-on than you wont need to rejet. If you add an air filter as well you may need to rejet; however, early model f4's where jetted on the rich side so you may also be fine. I ran a 2 1/4 Jardine exhaust and a k&n air filter on my bike for a while and it ran just fine.

at the exhaust on bottom of bike and on side near passenger footpeg loosen bolts, take the old pipe off and put the new one on. its not too hard just a couple bolts.
