Default 2 questions; slipclutch, stutter

Hello guys,

Im new here and i have an amazing cbr 600 f4 1999 with 40000 km on it as my first bike and it runs like its brand new!
I love it every day more but today when i went like 10-12000 rpms twice i noticed when i let off the gas it started stuttering like 3 times untill i gave gas again, it felt like if you quick downshift, bike was warm. It didnt occure aigan

Another thing that bothers me that every time at around 6-8k rpms the bike just red linea but wont really go up on speed with full gas...:/ like the clutch is slipping, any idea why?

Much thanks

google or search "clutch jutter" see if that describes the problem your having. thats what mine was doing. i had to take the clutch plates and disc out for inspection.

with the hesitation at higher rpms, if its not the clutch then look into the fuel filter being clogged or a pinched fuel line. thats all i got for now.

It says clutch needs to be aligned or replaced, i hope that is not the case.
How much does clutch cost?

UK guy here, not sure about the f4 as I`m not familiar with that particular model but the clutch issue I would put down to slipping and a new clutch is prob` required ...sorry mate but thats what I think (I`ve deffo been wrong about something before !! ). Its a simple enough job with no real specialist tooling. Not too expensive to buy and an easy hour to fit....by yourself of course!. If the bike has been standing for a while the plates can stick together and give you a little problem but you either strip and clean or hope that with use, the clutch will free up. Either way is not the end of the world and is do able so alls not lost.
As for the stuttering as you shut off, when was the bike last serviced ? A sign of a clutch faultering could be service limits have reached on other componants such as a simple spark plug, is it an "i" ?, if not how clean is the air filter/fuel filter. Time to give her some tlc mate.....mine gets more than the missus.Good luck fella

I don't have the tools for giving any service maybe some day at my friends house or something together as he has some experiences in motorcycles.
I bought the motorcycle 2,5 months ago from a dealership, it only get like fresh lubs/oils and stuff..
Previous owner was a women(good?! or bad?!) and it looks very clean and in very good shape but I have no idea on the clutch(plates?)...

As for the spark plug, that is something I don't have any understanding it, I don't know what clean/dirty is or what type etc.. same goes for fuel filter.
No idea what the status of the air filter is, it does goes on and does its work but.. again, no tools to open the tank and stuff or even the fairings.

I tried testing the acceleration again today to high rpms and releasing the throttle: it happened again but on cold engine, I'm starting to doubt when this occured the first time that did I really had warm engine or not.(is it normal on cold engine?)
Tomorrow I'm going to make a little trip outside town so I'm going to check that again and will drive by my dealer/garage to inform about the clutch jutter.

Because of the price being underneath 2500 at purchase he didn't gave me warranty but assured me of selling me a top condition bike that will go for atleast 1 season before needing any service.(sellingtalks but i have my right!)

yes it can be worse when its cold. down load and read the shop manual on these problems to see if that might help you understand. after some practice its simple to understand and perform these tasks, just takes time to learn.
