It seems so, but what gotcbr is recommended is the redesigned OEM Honda part.... not aftermarket... I'm probably going to go that route soon... rode last week and it didnt stall out at all, but I might have gotten lucky.. its more money, but it is OEM...
I have other maintenance things to do and some money to save before I can take the plunge for the new R/R... with my bike it isnt a pressing problem.. but as gotcbr said, it could just be a matter of time since my mine is still the original, weaker design.

Hi, I just purchased a 2000 CBR 600 F4 yesterday from a guy in West Chester, PA and I live in Philadelphia. My cousin took it on a test ride and everything before I purchased it and everything seemed fine - guy even rode it to the auto tags place to switch title. Half way to Philadelphia, the bike died as if the battery died - got it jumped and when we got back to Philly and cut it off, it would not start back up. Do you think this also has to do with the R/R like you guys stated before. This is my first bike and I'm totally bummed out about this. But if an OEM R/R could do the trick for around $150 - I would be ok... Please help!
