hey fellas, I have a 95 honda cbr 600 f3 bike and need a new seat. the vinyl has some rips in it and I want to fix it up before summer gets here. I came across a guy with a F2 seat for sale........does anyone know if this will fit my F3 though?......I dont wanna buy a seat and then have it sitting around cause it doesnt fit. Thanks in advance.

 

easier alternative is just take your seat to an upholstrey shop and have it recovered....shop charged me 30 bucks for my seat when i was still using it.

 

yeah, it will fit. but, i totally agree with the recovering idea. and while you are at it, you can alter the foam for a more comfortable ride. just my $.02

 

97-98 F3 seats are different, but F2 & F3 before 97 have the same seat as far as I know.

 

recover it yourself dirt cheap. just take all the staples out of the old one and use the old vinyl one as a template to cut a new one.

 

Thanks for all the imput guys. I think I am going to do what you guys said and recover it myself :S How hard is it to do though? Any tips on how to do it before I start?
