Default I like my F3 but not when i cant ride it! help inside

ok gang. bike is a 96 F3. i bought a brand new battery, brand new R/R for it and a new rectifier plug since the last one got fried along with the R/R, i threw a voltage meter on it and its holding at 14.X volts and nothing comes on, no lights, no dash lights, etc. only thing thats working is my alarm. insight would be great. im frustrated with it. maybe diagram of the wiring to the R/R would help. or is it possible i need a new stator?

The stator and R/R only keep it charged, it gets all it's power from the battery, check the connections first, they're pretty finicky about being connected well.

There is only a couple of things that will cause the symptoms you're describing. The most likely is the main 30A fuse. It's a part of the Start Relay and located next to the battery. It's a little challenging to locate because it's hidden under a cover. It's a standard plugable fuse.

The other possibility is a bad ignition switch, but that is less likely than the main fuse. Download the manual from StephyGees site.

Default update

update: I took IDoDirt's advice and looked at the 30A fuse and sure enough it was popped. so i got a pack of like 5 30A fuses at walmart for like 2 bucks. put one in and she turned on, and it took a bit to start it up because it sat for a good while. but i got her started and rode her around the block and took her on the highway a little bit and she runs damn well. i need to replace the chain and put my new tire i got sitting here on the bike.(anyone know a good way to pull an old tire off yourself? im sure there are tools but has anyone pulled a tire without a tire puller? i got some new progrip gel grips i need to put on it too and some bar ends. I just want to thank IDoDirt again for the help with out his info i wouldnt have gotten it started.
