Default anybody got an aftermarket seat for their bike???

I've been riding a lot lately and the stock seat gets to be kind of uncomfortable after a while. has anyone put an aftermarket seat on their 929rr? if you have what kind would you recommend and how much am i gonna be looking to spend for a decent seat. Thanks a lot for your input

Hi, yeah, I bought a custom seat for my 2007 Repsol. It is definitely more comfortable than the stock seat. I think the cost was a little over $300. I had the welt around the seat done in orange which goes great with the orange theme of the Repsol. They also sell seats for the 929RR. Here's the link.

I recently picked up a Corbin from eBay for $180. Wonderfully comfortably, 2hrs+ becomes a non-issue. The seat is also a little lower (1.5" maybe) so the riding position is a little more cramped in the knees if that is an issue. Also because of the shape it takes more effort to slide a bum-cheek off for spirited riding.

Ijust got a Sargent seat on my 954...one of the best investments ever for street riding. Easy to switch the seat back for track use if you want a little more "slide-ability"

thanks everybody. i'm moving to the dc area and don't have a truck so i'm gonna have to ride my bike down there(4 hours in a car, less on a bike) and i think an aftermarket seat is definately a necessity.

i've heard good things about the Corbin and Sargent seats, not sure which one i'll try but i'm going to be getting one soon. i can't stay on my 929 for more than a couple hours at a time without my a$$ getting sore. i'm keeping my eye out for one on eBay.
