Picked up my "new" bike this morning
I hate to call this thing "used" because it was hardly ridden and was kept in a garage its entire life. 2001 CBR929RR, everything's stock (still has original tires, air filter, etc), 2400 miles, and not a scratch on it. I'll just give the links to the photos:

I've been riding a '92 Katana 600 for a while now, so when I picked this bike up this morning I rode it around for a while, and after I started to feel more comfortable on it (WAY more aggressive riding position than the Kat... it makes the Kat feel like a touring bike) I decided to see just how much faster it is than the old 600. I was in 2nd gear, rolled on the throttle at about 4k and I shut it down when I hit about 9000 and said out loud "Holy S**t!!" This thing is FAST, and it handles like a dream. I've got a steering damper coming in the mail so that will be the first upgrade, and after that I'll probably just do things as I can afford them and feel like the bike needs it (exhaust, PCIII, etc).

congrats .. and welcome to the 929 club
you'll get used to the "holy s**t" moments after a while .. though they still come. i had one the other day when, for the first time, i scraped something ;-)
depending on what sort of riding you are doing, you may also want to consider a gearing change..
