How fast do you go to keep it out of 5th gear? Have you been on a highway yet?

 

I also use it all the time...If im on a road that doesn't deserve bein in the powerband ill be in sixth just to save gas if the speedlimit is high enough and I can just cruise....otherwise on the highway if im just cruisin ill be in sixth--still plenty of power if im not tryin to go ***** to the wall

 

no i'm still learning to ride...right now 55 is fast enough lol. I'm sure I'll get past that as soon as I get a few more miled under my belt.

 

90MPH more is what my speedometer incidated I was going faster than you... so far!

I obvisouly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but we all have our moments where we decide everything is just right and gun it.

Happened to me once, prolly won't see 145 on the speedo againfor some time. I do admit to breaking 100MPH every day I ride. Life just seems different when you do 100 everyday. Hell, prolly 80% of the population never sees 100, let alone hitting it everyday.

yeah i used to think there was no 6th gear. but then i counted correctly and i found it. i thought i was an idiot after that moment.

 

yeah hittin 100 is a good feelin when you've driven slow cars most of your life...they just make it so damn easy!

 

I had actually felt like I was missing my 6th. But honestly it could have been greed for speed. Never actually counted. 145 screaming down the highway, how many gears I have is the last thing on my mind. Once I tried to take a picture of my speedometer while doing this. Didnt work, but oh well it was worth a try.

 

i use 6ty gear all the time if you need to shift then shift i think i stay about 5k at 55mph but my speedo says 65 cus of the gears im using.... some times well all the time i think there is an extra gear well sounds like it any ways and i go to put it in then there ius none there i always forget im in sixth
