Default Detailing the F3, Chainguard, grime and wax

Hey guys... got my F3 in feb and since then my R/R went out.... soo it was detailing time this weekend!!! Ok my chain guard is still on, and the old owner i guess never cleaned anything, just rode it and stored it. So i have a huge amount of grease from the chain all over the rear wheel and chain guard. i used some engine degreaser at first, then i combined a toothbrush, then multiple rags, then i threw the kitchen sink at her... after an hour...... well it looked better, but wow there was a ton of grease!! I want to know, is it worth it to take off the chainguard for the excess amount of grease that will get all over? also what do you guys prefer for choice of wax, i just went with the turtle wax hard shell junk, i figured a base of that would do me fine for now. and i used a microfiber cloth to buff. Any other little detailing..details are welcomed.
Thanks guys!!!!

Ok i think that most of the f3/f2/f4 riders will recomend the honda spray. Its a cleaner buffer and wax all in one and it puts a crazy shine on the bike. just spray on and wipe off that easy.
