Default Detailing suggestions?

I was wondering if people had suggested methods of detailing the paintwork/decals. My bike is a 93. If it was just paintwork, you could use, I guess, a light compound/polish/wax. With the decals, I'm not so sure. How do we brighten up the pain, decals included? Thanks.

Moved to detailing. How to's are for write-ups on how to do something, not questions on how to do something.

Now, I use SC1 clear coat spray (by maxima) on the plastic and decals. It really shines it up and makes it smooth. The bike stays clean longer because the dust doesn't stick to to easily. keep it off the seat!!!!! Even a little overspray will make things slippery.

Others have used pledge. I never have, but I hear it works wonders for a shine.
