Default Very Productive F3 Detailing

I took advantage of my t-giving break and worked on fixing a few cosmetic problems that my bike had. First thing I tackled was the front fender that shattered the last time I was out and subsequently let the tire file down the tip of the fender. I bought some plastic weld and put the cracks back together on the top. The stuff is awesome! Next I dremeled the front part where it rubbed. I cut it off to a straight edge and then tried as best I could to round the corners. It looks just like an untouched fender...except it is about an inch shorter haha.
Next project was painting some exposed bondo that was left over from the last owner doing a crappy job (more on that later). I sanded it down a little, cleaned it up, then sprayed it with a few coats of honda black. I taped it off the best I could to prevent over spray. In the pic you can still see the tape lines, but after a while I'll wet sand it so it isn't as noticeable. Or I'll just tell everyone to stand farther than 5 feet away.
Next was taking care of the over spray left by the previous owners great paint job attempt. The graphics had a lot of black overspray and I decided to lightly sand it away. The stickers don't look perfect but they look a lot better. If they bug me later I'll just buy new ones.
So I saved about $120 on the fender and prolly $20-$30 on decals. Very pleased!

it always feels so much better afterwards to fix things like this yourself than to take it to a shop.
