What's it worth

The right side tail fairing I have is red.
I'd say ~$75.00 (once my brand new one gets here in about a week).
No known problems I have heard about. At that mileage most say it's time for a cam chain tensioner (~$60.00).
Other than that just make sure it's tuned up porperly and it wouldn't hurt to have the carbs cleaned/sync'd either but it isn't a necessity.
That bike looks really nice and clean to me.
I love the color of those wheels!
Flush mount aftermarket front turn signals, nice rear turn signals, aftermarket seat (or cover at least), aftermarket tinted windshield, tank bra (yuck!...lol), low mileage, ...
A little clean up and that bike will be stunning!
Worth $2k as it is, but I'd still low ball (~$1,400-1,500.00) showing the cash. A lot of people have a hard time turning it down when they are staring right at it.
You'll love that bike if you get it.

As far as repainting goes. I wouldn't repaint it right now. Actually I'm laid off and shouldn't be buying this bike, but it seems like a good deal and I want a bike for the summer. And if i needed to sell it for any reason I'm sure I could get my money or more back out of it. First things I would do is tune up, including plugs and amsoil synthetic oil, and fresh coolant. I'm just waiting on the call from him to let me know if he's gotten it out of winter storage today so I can go look at it.

It doesn't get much more economical then a nice "small" bike.

I thought he said it had an aftermarket exhaust, but when I re-read his post the other day I didn't see it listed in there anywhere. I scanned through it again to make sure I wasn't crazy, well more crazy, and found he said this:
That is definately a factory/stock pipe on it.

I'm not exactly sure. I could swear the guy told me on the phone that it had a custom exhaust on it and that the previous owner gave him the stock exhaust to go with it. I too did notice the black stock looking pipe on it, I will have to find out what the deal is. I missed his call last night and I know he said that I wouldn't be able to look at it on wednesday because he had family in town. So I might be going tomorrow to check it out. I will keep you guys posted, and hopefully I will have a new toy to sit next to my buick grand national.
