Hey guys. I have a 95 f3 that i got a couple of days ago. upon ripping the seat and tank off to clean the carbs, i found a port for a vacuum line that was not attatched to anything. where is this supposed to attatch to? (center of image)



also, i found on the back side of the airbox, i found a large vacuum line going to a small box. i wanted to see what the box was so i removed the cover, and nothing was inside. i imagine it was a filter at one time, but it was removed and never replaced. what is this called?

 

If you're referring to the one thats in the bracket next to the line that you removed from the tank, if you look, both of those should go to the tank, I believe one is a breather, the other is a drain.

I'd suggest finding the service manual online. it's bailed my butt out a few times.
