Default F3 vacuum line

Can anyone tell me where I would find an easy (somewhat at least) to reach vacuum line on my 98 600 F3? I just bought the bike with 20k miles on it and I'm not sure exactly how well it's been taken care of, so I ran about 5oz through the gas and would like to run a bit directly into the engine to make sure I'm cleaning it all out well.

Thanks!

Default RE: F3 vacuum line

i'm assuming you are talking about seafoam???? or a carbon removing cleaner.... if soo... i would suggest running it in the gas only... i know the smoke is satisfying... but.. from my personal experience.... i did this about a week ago, and...... well i fouled the plugs in the process.... which is very easy with all of that carbon... and my bike only had 8000 miles on it... it took me 3 days to get it running right again, and a new set of plugs... which are not easy to get to by the way!! i had to buy special tools for that... and its not really safe unless you have compressed air to blow all the crap off the top of the engine before you changethem... thats just my .02! if you figure it out and it works really good for you then by all means drop me a line and let me know how it went!!! i would be excited to hear about it. peace!! and good ridin

Hey i also see that you are from Normal, Illinois... i am from Eureka!! i bought my bike from a guy in Bloomington about 3and a half weeks ago.. anyways cya
