time for a tune up

Default time for a tune up

hey guys it is just about time for a tune up. valve adjustments carb cleaning and sync from you guys that have gotten the work done about how much do you guys pay or what would be a good price so i don;t get riped off. just looking for a ball park thats all. thanks guys.

im in SC Valve adjustment-150.00
Carb rebuild w/jetkit-600.00
Everything else should be a feasiable job for anyone w/ common mechanical skills. Oil/filter,chain, brakes/rotors, wheel bearings

holy ****! I should go into the business of rebuilding carbs!..lol...dam thats a lot for something you can easily do yourself! All i need is a $20 syncro gauge to sync em up after in done swapping jets and cleaning.

yea your right, i was to impatient to fix myself and im a full time welder for aerospace company i have no time, next time ill call you lol

Carb Sync is easy if you have the tool, impossible if you don't.

well i am going to let a shop do the valve adjustment i don't want to mess that up for sure but i am going to do the carb sync. so with that were is a good place to get the sync tool?

i had already put a new motor in and pretty much rebuilt the bike, i saved supposedly 2500.00, 600.00 didn't sound bad to get on the road, now im addicted. i have done absolutly everything to my bike myself except the carbs, this is what it looked like right after i bought it, and i know its dumb that i did all that work and then payed 600.00 for the carbs but that **** is to damn tideous, hands to big and clumsy
