tilt sensor
Hey guys,
So my bike was previously a racing bike and I think they pulled out the tilt sensor but im not sure. Where is it located? Im having an issue where when the bike is on the stand, it will say neutral on the cluster and start but when I bring it up to start to ride, the neutral light will go off and the bike dies. Any ideas?

The F3's don't have a BAS or Bank Angle Sensor. That is used for Fuel Injected bikes to kill the high pressure fuel pump in case of an accident. Having the bike die when you pull the bike upright does seem unusual. Anyway you could post a video or provide a more detailed description of exactly what happens and when ?

Here is a video of the issue.
What was wrong with it the first time was one of the wires was torn up on the connector so I soldered it back together. Now the issue is this, when Im on the bike and its in neutral, the light doesnt really come on unless i put a little down pressure on the shifter without going into first or when I tilt the bike. I changed out the fuse after it blew yesterday and the bike also dies when im in neutral and put the stand down. Another issue is sometimes when I let the bike sit for a while and go back to ride, I will put it in gear and it will die out, Its like it doesnt know its in neutral.
What could be the issue?

Check the clutch switch , on the bars.
Also check the side-stand switch.
Will it kill the bike if you are pulling the clutch when you lower the side-stand?
By eliminating a ***** connection at those points,
it help assures that it they aren't contributing to the issue.
The neutral light thing is really weird, so it might not help.
It really sounds more like a bad neutral sensor
or a wire/connection in that part of the circuit.
Hope this helps, Ern
