tilt/kickstand sensor help
i know there is a thread on this alread, but i just cant seem to find it.
if somone could maybe link me it, if they know where its at, or can help i would be most appreciative.
on my 01 F4i, the nutral light flickers, so when the kickstand is down, it will shut off randomly, and i dont know if its the tilt sensor that is real touchy, or if its the gear sensor, but is there a way to bypass that?
or to just fix the nutral light? it might just be a bad connection, but i dont know the first thing about wiring, so wasnt really sure how to track it back for the nutral light.
any help would be great.
thanks all!!!

Check wiring on kickstand - clean and tight is good.
Don't remove your kickstand cutout - you'll understand why the first time you forget your sidestand is down and try to turn left
Check the neutral switch wiring - sometimes gets oily and causes problems......clean it and make sure connections are tight.

funny you said that, right after i posted this, i thought about that. your right, i dont want to bypass it. somone almost did that thursday night leaving our meet up spot, and as soon as it went into gear it cut off. but i was about to run up and say, your kickstand is down.
i will check those wires today when i get home from work.
where is the nutral switch wireing located? is it easy to find?

Check the manual
www.stephygee.com
Shouldn't be hard to find - look below the gearlever neutral switch is down there, as is the kickstand switch.
