just bought my first bike, its a project, long story short its rough, but it runs. I know very little about the inner workings of the standard transmission, but i have the oil pan off, and the clutch cover off, can see the shift forks( the one in the middle, looking from underneath). there are no metal shavings nothing looks fubar'd. Anybody run into this before, have no history on the bike either. Feels like its stuck in third or fourth, the shifter even clicks like it works no neutral. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

 

new clutch pack maybe I would see about a motorcycle shop to do the work. Transmissions are pretty complicated. owners manual should help you though incase you want to tackle this yourself. search the F3 forum for the online owners manual and download it

 

Make sure the shifting leaver is not upside down. I seen on that was with similar problems.
