Starting problems
I am having some sort of electrical issue, but do not know what it is or how to test. My bike battery would hold a charge, and thought it might be the battery, but upon inspection of the R/R found out that was bad since the plug looked burnt out. I replaced the R/R with a 03 gsxr one, and thought my problems were gone.
This morning I went out to start my bike, and had a dead batt. Once I put a charge on it it starts right up. Any suggestions on what to check?
This is my first bike, so have not done a lot of mechanical stuff with it yet, but if provided with steps to do stuff am not afraid to get my hands dirty.

After installing the RR, did you let the battery charge? Just because you installed the new RR doesn't mean the battery will be charged. Leave it on the tender overnight. It takes 30 minutes of riding (not idling) to charge a battery
I put it on a battery charger. It took about a month and change after installing the new R/R to have the batt die, so it is a lot better than before where it would die overnight.
Update* I went out riding today and the bike is acting somewhat irregular below 5k rpm, it is shuddering a little, kind of like it is running out of gas, but I have a full tank. Is this related?
