hello all,

Ive had my cbr600f3 (98 plate) for 2 years with no problems but the last week i have been having starting problems

i go to the bike turn the ignision on and put the choke on, try and start the bike and i can hear the starter rotate bit it wont give me a spark, after the 3rd time with no spark i give up and bump start it and it starts easy,

this has been going on every day for 7 days now,
4 days ago i fitted a K&M air filter, changed the oil and oil filter and fuel filter.
i also emptied the fuel tank and put fresh petrol in.
i put some neet redex down the carbs and ran it thou to flush it ( cleaned so much crap out of it).

it didn't wont to start after but manages to get it started and took it for an hour ride ceeping the revs between 8-11 rpm trying to get it as hot as i could.

if anyone could help me i would be grateful

lol, your battery is dead my friend, you may hear the starter, but if the battery does not have enough juice it wont fire the cyliners.

Try jump starting with another battery or nattery tender (or an off car).
