Starting problem - VID
Okay I'd start with plugs then.. Chances are since you put the manual CCT in, it wouldn't skip timing. What I do is pull plugs, wave a lighter around on the bottom of the plug to burn off fuel, crank the engine a little with no plugs to help air it out, maybe let it sit for a few to be sure, then put plugs back in and try it.. You may want to crank it w/ plugs in & fuel off too after you do the above

looks like low compression though when i cover the holes, its strong enough to push my hand off.
a friend of mine suggested putting a little oil in the holes for the valves to help compression.
gonna see if that works.
