sounds like a diesel ?????
Hey guys..... just got a 95 cbr 600 f3 looked at it twice.... both times it was warmed up. bought it home and today when i start it cold it sounds like a diesel at idle.. Once it's warmed up it's fine. any idea's on what it could be ? and my local shop won't even look at it.... " we have a shop full of our customers bikes. maybe you should take it back where you got it and have them fix it" [:@] any help would be great
Thanks
Thanks
most of the cbrs have this problem. when cold started it gives a rattling sound, and its fine onces the bike is warmed up. even my bike has this problem.
I changed the cam chain tensioner the sound is less but its still there.
I looked online what i found is, it may be because the carb sliders are worn out which causes the sound and when it heats up it expands and thats when the sound stops.
so its either this or that.
so hope it helps, but still i feel its not a major problem.
