Slipping 2nd gear

dude! its not your clutch! its your gear dogs on your transmission. I know because my brothers (we both have f3s) bike slipped out only in second gear. if it was clutch it prob do it in all gears. your gonna have to drop the engine break down crankcase and replace them. I did it with my brother. took us a combined 42 man hours. but its pretty simple. gears dogs. that's your problem. its a fun fix though.

and on top of that your shifting forks will be worn out also. it's possible that you might get away with only having to replace them. the more you ride the more worn down the dogs will get. your shifting fork are connected to the shifting drum. when you change gears with your foot it rotates the drum thus shift the forks over. that in turn move the dogs to the correct position to turn your crankshaft. on my brothers we might have been able to just swap the forks but just to make sure we replaced the 2nd gear dog aswell.
