run bike without exaust?

Default run bike without exaust?

ok so i was wondering...is it safe for my engine to run it daily without the back part? called a can i guess. its a yoshi slip on...

When you mean run do you mean just kicking it over?
Mufflers there for more just keeping you're bike a bit quieter, it gives the donk a bit of back pressure & I think it would make the motor run a tad lean. riding it without a can & you run the possibility of burning some valves as well as pissing off the neighbours & drawing the attention of even an almost deaf cop.
As for just kicking it over? I'd still be inclined to put the Yoshi back on.

hmm ok...well i was asking cause i cracked it nearest to the s-pipe. was trying to get it off to get the pipes sand blasted soon. found a scorpian slip on for 100 bucks...but he says its for a CBR1000 04-05. but i dont see why it wouldnt work for my 98 600 f3...plus for 100 bucks brand new? i consider that a steal...NIB

04-05 1krr use undertail exhaust tmk. That'd be a good reason why it wouldn't work.

well all righty then, thanks for clearing that right up for me....wasnt sure if it could be run up and under the tail or not..
