Exaust
I have a question. I know someone will be able to answer.
I found an exaust for a 94 I think it is a 4-2-1 With a Vance and Hines can. I need to know if it will work, or fit, on an 87. I would need a jet kit, too. Right?
Also I leave for work at around 5:30am would the neighbors hate me..........even more? I have heard V/H are loud.
Thanks for the help.
Arrrrrrgh. I turned 40 today. Maybe I will get a new (to me) exaust.

RE: Exaust
The frame, engine and engine installation is the same, so I guess it will fit. V&H are LOUD since the volume of the muffler is small. I installed a 4-2-1 systemon my CBR 1000 F and it runned fine on the stock jetting, whichis #122 main jets. I also used a Dynojet kit since it was on the bike when I bought it. It is better to raise the needles with a M3 washer though, the Dynojet needles are much more agressive on the emulsion tubes and may ruin the carbs in the long run.
You may loose some of the silk-lean characteristic of the engine and some low rpm power. The high rpm power will be raisedlike 5 to 10 horses.
