Risk Management 101
Here's a story for you.
I had my F3 out today, but on the way home I got into some light rain. I tangled with an OLD Honda Accord who cut me off and was really egging me on to race. Being a very aggressive driver myself, I took the challenge for about a mile. There were 2 very sharp curves, one to the right, then the other to the left (actually an exit, but the speed limit is still 60 since it connects with another road). I took him in the right turn, but I took the corner really hot... not too smart. But he passed me just before the left turn as I was prepping for the corner. He fishtailed a little also.Keep in mind, the roads were wet! I backed off rather than push it any further. The risk was just too much. So I got home and was able to park the bike safely into the garage again. I can still say I've been riding on the street 23 years and never laid a bike down. The Accord driver right now is telling all his friends how hebeat a Honda CBR... but that's O.K.,sometimes it's just not worth the risk.
Hope this helps someone...

RE: Risk Management 101
sounds like smart riding to me (the second half). i am always down to smack around a ricer but those conditions would have smacked you up pretty good. that guy bragging about the victory today is like a guy bragging about beating up an old lady... in a wheel chair....shot twice in the face.....and while she had the ****s
