Default Remove jet needle

directions says use one the diaphram screws in the middle and gently pull out. Well mine ain't budge'n. I looked up the diagram and clearly it should come out of the slide retainer.

just to clarify also included with the kit was a drill bit and stated to drill the two outer holes around the needle. My ? Is do I drill to the same depth as the oem??

Small flat head around the slide retainer? Maybe some penetrating oil would help?? I tried all 4 pulling on them but didn't want to damage th cause it's a pretty delicate part

Put one of the screws that came off the diaphram cover into this hole. Screw it in about 1/4" to 1/2". Then with a pair of plyers, pull on the screw and it will remove that black round post along with the Jet Needle. It is only held in place by a "O" Ring sitting in a groove in the bottom. It will come out.
