I totally forgot to do a follow up post, would have remembered if this thread was still busy, I would have seen it at the top of the post and remembered. Anyway, I did get the lights hooked up and working and it only took a few minutes. The wires were under/in that boot. (see prior pic) for reference it was a brown wire and a red/black wire. Hooked up without any issues.
I'm posting this via my phone so when I'm back on my laptop I'll look for a pic to show the lights. I know I snapped 1 or 2. It would be more light on the tag with 4 lights but I think I'm satisfied with just two lights. They are pretty cool looking lights and look like regular chrome tag bolts.
Thanks for the feedback, help, etc. Oh. I forgot to mention that I picked up an 05 RR (picking up in New York in 2 weeks or so) wasn't looking for another bike but the deal fell in my lap and was to good to pass up. So my F3 is on the market. Let me know if anyone is ready to deal.
