If anyone else was looking for this, I found LED license plate bolt lights. They do have to be hardwired but no biggie. Here is a link on the package www.kuryakyn.com Part number is 9199 sorry for the pict being a little far to see.

Larry make some really nice light kits.. I bout mine from him.. LED ftw!!
