license plate light?
im trying to intall the white led light for my license plate and the directions say connect the positive to the brown wire and the neg to the green wire but this isnt working if anybody have any advice that be great, im trying not to get pulled over for something stupid
led is polarized for sure. don't hook it up backwards. green = ground on the bike, and black should = ground on the led. but you probably just shorted the positive to ground and blew a fuse. check that before you do any diagnostics.
What colors are the wires on the LED? Are they red/black or different? All polarized LED's I've ever dealt with just have two wires (usually the same color or one striped). If it didn't work one way, I switched the wires and it would light right up......and never had a problem with blowing an LED, ever.
thanks everybody for the advice i got it to work, the postive from the led just had to hooked up to a different wire than what the directions said i just had to try different combos till it worked
