so i've got a 05 600rr. I have bought a license plate bracket with a light and now cant figure out where to tie it in. im not sure where the factory one was since it was not there when i got the bike. so does anyone know which two color of wires to use?

You can tie-in off the rear-brake running light, just don't tie-in to the brake light. Not sure the color codes on that bike though, mine's a 98. I just hot it up and use my VOM and a straight-pin pushed thru the side of the various wires to test/find the one I'm looking for.

Like Ern said. Use a voltmeter/test light to find a hot that is always on (not brake or signal). Tie it in and you are done. Doesn't really matter which hot you use!
