license plate light!!!!!!!!

Default license plate light!!!!!!!!

hey all for those who customized their undertail and removed their plate how did you wire the light to it and what kind of light. i did my undertail and now working on my license plate any help and pictures would be great thankx

Lockhart Phillips makes an LED that is mounted in a bolt. That bolt is used to mount your license plate to the mounting hardware. The LED is angled down to illuminate the license plate. Drill a small hole behind the license plate to run the LED wires up into the storage compartment. Splice them to your exsisting license plate light wires.

Check your local bike dealers to see if they carry something like this.

If you search "undertail" in this forum you should get more information.

I bought a bracket that has 5 led inside...works great just snipped stock wires and hook up new ones...I used heat shrink tubing for a a wateright seal and some electrical tape. You could always make the connection insode your trunk too providing you have enough wire.

all right thankx guys i did find some of those lighs that are in a bolt i was thinking picking upi those they look like they can do the job..

LED that is mounted in a bolt and then you can mount them onto youre plate
