Default Ques. Im sure has already been asked....

New to your house guys and as I said Im sure this has been asked.Is there a conversion from a 5" rear to a 5.5" that is not to painful,such as an F4 or anyother CBR that anyone knows of.Thanks

The tire is super close to the chain to begin with. With a 5.5 and a 180 I think it will hit the chain.

I put a 900rr wheel in there one time just to see and clearance didnt seem to be an issue.While the 900 takes the same cush drive and sprocket the hub dimensions are way off and would take to much to make work.You may be right though.Figured if anybody would know it would be someone on here.


I run 165 slicks and have run 180's on the 5" but it seems to spin-up corner exit worse with the 180 bcause of the way it rolls the tire up and it does turn in a little slower,buts its tolerable.My quest continues.
