tire ques.?
i have to replace my rear tire. i had a plug in it for like 3 months and held up fine no probs. the other day i got another nail in the tire, so i had to plug that nail up so i can make it home. so now i got 2 plugs and the treads are pretty low too.
now my question is do i replace just the rear or front and rear? the front tire has no plugs in it and the treads still look good. the bikes got about 7000 miles, and there boths stock tires. i just wanna know wat u guys/gals would do.

RE: tire ques.?
Basically you have two choices the Michelin Pilot Powers or the Dunlop Qualifiers ( the replacement for the stock dunlops) people have varying opinions on them read up on both and see which one you prefer I have the pilot powers but have yet to actually ride on them as the weather hasnt been great around here and i've been sick the past couple days. I'll let you know when i get a chance to go out on them how they are. Also don't be confused there are other tires out there for your bike but these two seem to be the most popular.

I would replace both depending on your riding style. I had a plug in a rear tire (around 1500 miles) and then ending up replacing it when the second one happened (closer to 10K). The front was good for me until 10K miles. And that was when both got replaced. I am using the new Dunlop Qualifiers and so is my neighbor as so far we like them.
