hey, im new, and ive got a ques!
hey guys and gals...im a new rider, and im really kind of deadset on getting a CBR600 as my first bike. i originally thought the RR would b better, but i have heard from numerous people, including the sales rep at the local bike dealer, the the F4i would b better for me. im not a very big person, 5'7" 130 lbs, and i know that the ride height is different on the 2, the F4i is shorter. but the dealer had an F4i out, and i didnt have a problem sitting on it at all, and dont think i would on a RR if its only a few inches higher. so could anyone give me the pluses and minus and mayb a reccomendation for me between the 2? thanks

You heard right the f4i is a more comfterable ride.
Its rider friendly, the dealer told me that it was faster off the line then an rr
and that top end the rr would catch up. I just had to go for the Black rr....
I am 5'11' i think, and 210 lbs. I Sit perfectly on the bike.
Both Awsome bikes hard choice! psssst GO FOR THE RR@!#@%^

Hello & Welcome!!
I ride an F4i and love it. I've ridden the RR and it's not for me. I'm 5'2.5" and weight just as much as you do, and just because your not flat-footed, doesn't mean you can't hold up the bike. You'll learn to balance it with time. Make a decision on what's more comfortable for you.

It's definitely a tough choice. I'm a new rider and I chose the F4i because you don't sit quite as aggressive on the F4i as you do on the RR and I prefer that. The dealer told me the same thing about speed... the F4i is quicker off the line, but the RR is faster on the top end. I can't really confirm that 'cuz I've never ridden the RR and I haven't tested my F4i's top speed yet (it's not broken in yet). It is pretty quick off the line, though! Whichever you choose, enjoy!

Yeah I can't say from experience but a lot of people say the F4i is more comfortable but that RR just looks sweet. I'd sit on em both and hopefully your dealer will let you test ride em, then think it over and go from there. Good luck though and welcome to the board!
