My bike is finally done except for this one last issue! I installed my bar ends today and the darn throttle one binds up and causes the throttle to stick. If i push the grip to the left it binds on the switch box. Just curious if this is common? Should i just cut a bit of the end of the grip off on the throttle side? The grips are the original ones that came with the bike so nothing strange there.

Yeah, it's not pretty but I did cut my throttle one down too. Still not sure why it does that ... I believe the bar end mount is glued in place so there was no hope moving that, at least for me.

 

Thanks Northern, i figured that was the answer but that sure is annoying! I'll have to keep my eye out for grips, see if maybe some might be a bit shorter than others.

Just cut down the grip a little bit and that should resolve the issue.
