Default problem after problem!

So I'm having no luck with this bike what so ever! First I bypassed the air valve solenoid that fixed the problem so I could go faster than 30mph. Then I replaced the fuel pump so it would stop bogging out around 9k when i was accelerating. It has new fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and plug wires. Now on to what is wrong with the bike. . .I drive it fine last sunday put it up for the night and came back in the morning to start it up and when i started it up sounded like it was missing in a cylinder so i changed all the spark plugs and made sure all the plug wires were working and everything in the ignition system seems to be working. My friend says it might be a dropped valve idk it almost sounds like a v twin bike any ideas where and what to look for?

It starts right up doesn't make any different noises other than it did before except it sounds like one of the cylinders isn't hitting but there is a spark for sure in all cylinders.

have you cleaned the carbs? i wouldnt try troubleshooting past this point. clean each removeable jet (soak them in carb cleaner or sea foam)... and also, most important... clean those idle jets. the one you cant remove from each carb. most suggest using a guitar string. i found using a garbage bag tie (with the plastic or nylon removed using a lighter) works as well. its a big MUST that you are sure the jets are cleaned. the removeable jets... hold them up to the sky or a bright light and make damn sure you can see through each tiny hole. report back after doing this.

you could always do a compresson check in that cylinder.

sounds like not getting fuel in one carb. check out Musclecross Forum/carb cleaning and tuning. it has good info with photos.
