Hello to all, I just installed a D&D slip on which has been a good addition to my bike. There is a popping noise when i let off the throttle which is noticeable just wondering if this is normal or is there a way to cure the pop corn machine noise.

 

did u jet your bike?

 

popping is normal when you add a slipon.
(your bike hasnt been tuned for the slipon)
im assuming its from coming off a high rpm?

 

Fuel to Air ratio is off from adding pipe. Get it jetted to correct it.

 

no the bike hasnt been jetted yet because I was told it wasnt needed so at this point I really don't know.
