Default New rider and bike won’t start!! Please helpp

Bought a 1996 Honda Cbr f3 600 a week ago and it was running and driving. I brought it home and it wouldn’t turn over with the battery also dying on my losing close to all power. I changed out the battery with a new one and now it has power but still won’t crank. I checked spark plugs and they all looked clean and also changed the oil. Someone please please help me

If it was me, I would be straight back to the person I bough it from to hand it back... Sounds like they were somewhat less than honest when getting it ready to sell to you!

If that is not possible then you needs to give us some more info. What did you do when you went to get it? Was it a cold start, did it crank properly etc?

Have you checked the fuses properly which would be the first thing, then onto starter motor circuit, could be the infamous kill switch failure which is quite common on this age of bike and would stop the starter from operating, then onwards from there.

There should be a PDF manual on this site which you will need or from manuals.lib, you will need a multi-meter and know how to operate it in order to find and fix the problems

do you have multimeter and know how to use it to measure voltage and resistance (ohms)? This is 5-minute fix with multimeter... or less in many cases

I bought the bike for a grand and it was running perfectly fine up until I brought it home. Ordered a multimeter which just came in today, the bike is missing its fairings. When I first bought the bike I killed the engine, started it up again, rev checked it and everything checked out
