Bike wont start. brand new battery. seems to get flooded and than back fires very loud...hasn't ran in a long time...any ideas?

 

new fuel? u change da plugs?

 

Your floats in the carbs might be stuck. I would say give them a good gone through clean them up, fresh gas and plugs and you should be alright!

 

Is that easy to do?? im going to buyy plugs right now.

I have been wokring on dirt bikes and cars for awhile so I know a thing or 2...

I jsut got this bike for cheap and need tog et it running. IT cracks and spudders than a LOUD BOOOOOM back fire and nothing....than i have to re charge the battery

check the voltage regulator

I wouldnt worry about the voltage regulator. Just put some plugs in there and some fresh gas then see how it runs.

 

how do u test the volt/reg?

Cleaned my carbs.....bowls and jets and all i could keeping them together...floats were fie

Tonight im dropping new plugs in it...maybe that will wokr after that I have no idea...it jsut cranks and cranks and does nothing than it BACK FIRES real loud...any ideas?
