my new streetfighter build!!!

haha its funny, streetfighters originally were just wrecked fully faired bikes who's owner wouldnt have the funds to restore the bike. so, theyd rip it all off in an effort to get their bike back on the road as soon as possible. sadly now, its more considered a "look" than means to cheaply ride a sportbike. i didnt nessesarily seek this look, but replacing all the plastics just isnt an option. so here we are. anyways, heres me mockin up the subframe and welding it up. i used a kz750 tail, and a sv650 tail light with the integrated signals. there she is after a rattlecan special. i also made a seat from a piece of foam, plywood, and an old *** leather coat. looks good haha, feels even better. now for an exhaust, gauges, and better headlights. input? i now have a total of 1100 into her.

The term streetfighter was actually a word that was initialy published in a magazine called back street hereos (A Custom bike Magaizina) by one of its editors as a name for the style of sportsbike thats been stripped of everything unneeded for dragracing but was adopted by the hobby of streetfightering as most of us know it now.

Nice job on the tail. I wasn't gonna say anything, but that first pic of the tail when you got it made me think wtf?! Who the hell mounted that tail/seat at that angle??? lol! Looks MUCH better with your new tail. I think that's a big part of getting the look right on these types of bikes... the tail really defines the look of the bike and the rest just kind of plays into that.
Looking good. You get the ram air system sorted out?
