Hey guys, new to the forum, ok little background on the bike. 1998 cbr 600 f3 ive had the bike about 3 months now, only put about 1000 moles on it. I broke down on it about 1 month owning it due to the fuel pump contacts worn down. Rebuilt the fuel pump and bike rode awesome. Rode for another month and it was fine then all of a sudden i got a missfire at idle to about 2500 rpms then it clears up. I changed all the plugs, i put a temperature gauge on the manifold pipes and found out cylinder 2 ( second cylinder in from front brake lever side) is much cooler than the rest. So thats the cylinder causing the missfire. I took off the carbs and air filter, carbs were clean. Air filter is a k&n and is a little dirty. My question is could the missfire be cause by the valves out of adjustment or maybe something stupid as the air filter being a little dirty. Any input much appreciated thankyou
