I tried a search but was unable to get a definitive answer to my issue. I am installing new LED front blinkers on my 97 F3 and they only have 2 wires. I have gathered that the green wire is ground. My issue is I am not sure which wire is the blinker and which is the running light. There is a solid wire (blue/orange) and a striped one on each side. Which one is the blinker wire?

 

On my 95 it was as follows:

Green = Ground
Solid Orange = Blinker
Orange with White stripe = Running Light

Plug up the light and before final install make sure to turn the key on and check to see if you have a running light or just a blinker. With the the solid orange and solid green you should only have a blinker. If this doesn't help I can get you a picture b/c I'm about to pull the fairings on my bike.

the bike is going to paint in a few weeks once I finish getting the body put together lol. I needed to fill the original blinker holes then drill a new hole for the post on the new ones. They look pretty nice and are plenty bright. Once I get some pics of them on I'll post 'em.
