isit coolant or something else? It shouldnt leak coolant from being too hot after only a few minutes unless there are problems elsewhere. The cooling fan should kick in if its running very hot. When it starts leaking what is your temp gauge reading? Where is it leaking?

the cap is under the upper right fairing. If you take the fuse panel cover off you can see the cap. If your good, you can reach the cap and get it off of there. If the coolant is circulating you can see it actually flowing around in there a little.

Well I had a problem with leaking coolant after several minutes of running and it turned out to be a leaky hose coming from the carbs. It flowed coolant through the carbs to heat them up.
The water pump doesn't start working from a cold start, it waits for the engine temps to get up first which would explain why it's not leaking right away. But yeah, could be a lot of stuff. Just pull the main lower fairings off and get a flashlight and try to spot it.
